About the Artist

A quick overview of my process, it begins with applying modeling paste to the foundation. 

Next step is sanding this takes place before any paint is applied.

Finally to protect the work and bring out the vibrancy of the colors a clear spray varnish is used.

Painting is a way of giving aesthetic form to inner feeling.

It is the paradox & mystery at the heart of painting that compels me to create.

The engagement with the medium itself and intuition play vital roles in the process. I work in layers & scrape back until a final form emerges.

I'm originally from Sydney Australia, & have traveled extensively throughout

South East Asia & most of Europe.
